Welcome to The Royal Melbourne Hospital Core Conditions in Emergency Radiology. This module is focussed on Abdominal x-ray.
The following topics will be covered in this module. Click on the topics to access the pre-reading, which should be completed prior to reviewing the cases:
- portal venous gas
- pneumatosis intestinalis
- small and large bowel obstruction
- abdominal hernia
- retroperitoneal fluid (e.g. retroperitoneal haemtoma)
- peritoneal fluid (e.g. ascites, haemoperitoneum)
